Starting Situation

The customer’s products and services required a reliable, trustworthy, and customer-centric management system with quality as the dominant driver. The goal was to enhance the internal processes and market profitability of the company.

Solution

The solution involved the implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS) according to ISO 9001 standards. Due to the complexity of orbital satellite operations, the QMS was expanded to ISO 9004 standards to lay the foundation for robust quality management concepts and enterprise-wide quality practices.

Outcome

The QMS implementation and audit process resulted in a successful TÜV audit, followed by accreditation and recertification of the ISO 9001 certification. Furthermore, the certification enhanced customers’ perception of a structured and professional approach to manufacturing and delivering high-quality products and services. The QMS itself led to the integration of quality control mechanisms into the company’s daily decision-making processes.
